Made in Seki Japan which has a history of 800 Years of blacksmith in making swords, knives and cutlery.  The Hamon series is fantastic because of it's low price point, sharp edge, shiny look and quality construction. Made from subv-zero treated Swedish-Stainless Steel, this 150mm Petty has a lot of lenght for the ones that like to work with utility knives that offer more blade.

Petty knives are a mix between slicing and paring knives known as the ideal blade for most food preparations that require added precision. They feature scalloped edges and blades that are slightly longer than standard paring knives. Heavily used by chefs for their sharp edges, the petty is very efficient for slicing fruits, vegetables, meats or poultry and even mincing garlic, onions and delicate herbs.
